I don’t think anything quantifies the paradox of the Salton Sea as the Dead Trees of Red Hill Bay to the Sunsets of the Sea that are always spectacular. A combination of evaporative moisture from the sea combined with dust in the air from the nearby desert almost always guarantees a memorable and colorful sunset. This days was one fo the best that I and shooting partner Laurie Rubin have ever seen
However, I’m not sure the trees will be there when I return…I loved them, my favorite thing to shoot at The Sea
