El Nino rains this fall in Mid-California brought torrential rains to Death Valley National Park wiping out two major roads to the park and flooding parts of Scotty’s Castle.
But with every rain there’s a rainbow and the good side to the rains was it caused a once in a decade SuperBloom of Wildflowers out at the park.
I headed up in late February for a one day Roundtrip (Whew that’s a lot of driving) because I just had to see and shoot it for myself
The Majority of the bloom on this date was Desert Gold or Desert Sunflower Geraea Canescens
